# Syidax Software License Policy version **2026-09**. Copyright (c) parrru. All rights not expressly granted in this License are reserved. The licensor ("Syidax", "we", or "us") is **parrru**, 4F, #465, 50, Mokdongdong-ro 12-gil, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, 08009, Republic of Korea. Contact and customer support: **parrrudev@gmail.com**. ## 1. What this License covers This License applies to the following Syidax releases ("the Library"), in source, compiled, minified or bundled form: | Package | Contents | Covered releases | | --- | --- | --- | | `@syidax/core` (earlier `@dc/syidax`) | Syidax Core, Community components | 6.0.0 and later | | `@syidax/core-pro` (earlier `@dc/syidax-pro`) | Syidax Core, Community and Pro components | 6.0.0 and later | | `@syidax/advanced` (earlier `@dc/syidax-advanced`) | Syidax Chart and Syidax Grid, Community editions | 1.0.0 and later | | `@syidax/advanced-pro` (earlier `@dc/syidax-advanced-pro`) | Syidax Chart and Syidax Grid, Community and Pro editions | 1.0.0 and later | | React, Vue and Angular wrapper packages | Framework bindings for the packages above | Every release that ships this file | The package names and the starting versions (Core 6.0.0, Advanced 1.0.0) were confirmed on 2026-09-28. On 2026-10-08 the packages moved to the `@syidax` scope; a covered release distributed under its earlier name is covered in the same way. This License applies to the first release of each package that ships this file and to every later release that ships it. ## 2. Earlier releases keep their terms This License does not revoke or narrow any right granted with an earlier release. Each earlier copy stays under the terms it was distributed with: - `@dc/syidax` 5.0.0 and earlier, including releases under earlier package names such as `@dc/synergy`. These releases shipped an MIT `LICENSE` file, and 5.0.0 later also shipped a `LICENSE.md` that allowed free use, including commercial use, and prohibited standalone redistribution. - `@dc/syidax-advanced` 1.0.0-rc.5 and earlier, including releases under the earlier package name `@dc/synergy-advanced`. From 1.0.0-rc.3 to 1.0.0-rc.5 the Community tier was licensed free of charge, including commercial use, and the Pro tier required a paid agreement. Earlier versions carry the terms stated in their own files and package manifests; for example, 0.1.0 declared the MIT license in its `package.json`. - Earlier versions of the framework wrapper packages, which keep the license their package manifests declared: MIT for `@dc/synergy-react`, `@dc/synergy-vue`, `@dc/synergy-angular` and `@dc/synergy-angular-module` 0.0.1 and 5.0.0; ISC for the React and Vue wrapper packages at 0.0.0; and the Advanced terms above for `@dc/synergy-advanced-react` and `@dc/syidax-advanced-react` up to 1.0.0-rc.5. The source repository keeps a record of which release shipped which terms in `legal/LEGACY-RIGHTS.md`. This License governs a release listed in section 1 when you install or use that release. ## 3. Definitions - **Product**: Syidax Core, Syidax Chart or Syidax Grid. Each Product has a **Community edition** and a **Pro edition**. - **Community features** and **Pro features**: the parts of a Product that the Syidax product documentation for the release you use assigns to its Community or Pro edition. - **Personal non-commercial use**: use by an individual for their own learning, experiments, hobby projects or other private purposes, where the work is not done for, paid by or delivered to a business, an organization or a customer, and the result is not sold or used to earn revenue. - **Business or customer project**: any other use. This includes work for or inside a company or other organization, paid or contracted work, work delivered to a customer, and any product or service that is sold, licensed, carries advertising or is otherwise used to earn revenue. - **Application**: software you build that includes the Library and whose main value is not the Library itself. - **Designated developer**: a person assigned to a subscription seat (section 6). - **License certificate**: the signed certificate that Syidax issues for a paid subscription, delivered as a key string or as a file (section 8). - **Paid-through time**: the exact end, in UTC, of the period you have paid for, as recorded for each Product in the license certificate. ## 4. Community editions: personal non-commercial use only The Community editions may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Subject to this License, you may install, use and modify the Community edition of each Product free of charge for personal non-commercial use. A business or customer project needs the Pro subscription of each Product it uses, even if it uses only Community features. For example, a company dashboard that uses only Community chart types needs Chart Pro, and a website delivered to a client that uses only Community Core components needs Core Pro. **Community Core components in Chart Pro and Grid Pro Applications.** A current Chart Pro or Grid Pro subscription includes commercial use of the Community Core components in the same Application. Core Pro components still need Core Pro. This inclusion does not cover a separate Application that uses Core without a current Chart Pro or Grid Pro subscription. Chart Community and Grid Community show a fixed Syidax logo (section 9). ## 5. Pro editions: per-product subscriptions **Offers.** Pro is sold as Core Pro, Chart Pro and Grid Pro; as the bundles Chart Pro + Core Pro and Grid Pro + Core Pro; and as the Suite, which is Chart Pro and Grid Pro with Core Pro included. Each Pro product is a subscription per designated developer, billed monthly or annually. Prices, currencies, taxes and billing periods are set by the Syidax price list and your order. They are not part of this License. **Products are licensed independently.** A subscription gives Pro rights only for the Products it names. Core Pro does not include Chart Pro or Grid Pro. Chart Pro does not include Grid Pro or the Core Pro components. Grid Pro does not include Chart Pro or the Core Pro components. The Suite and the bundles include exactly the Products they name. **Grant.** While a subscription is paid, parrru grants each designated developer a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install, use and modify the Community and Pro editions of the subscribed Products to develop, build, test and operate Applications, and to distribute those Applications as allowed in section 10. At the same price, this covers: - internal use inside your organization; - external services, such as public websites and SaaS; - ordinary delivery of customer software, including web, SaaS, desktop, on-premises and closed-network (offline) deliveries to your customers. There are no additional fees per end user, per Application, per server, per installation or for external use. End users of your Applications need no license from Syidax. **Enterprise.** Organizations with 20 or more developers can apply for an Enterprise agreement, priced by quote. It covers the Pro editions of the contracted Products and the consultation and support that the agreement states. Reaching 20 developers does not by itself end an existing Pro subscription (see section 12). **Perpetual fallback.** Pro rights are sold as subscriptions. An annual payment also earns a perpetual right to keep using the releases made during it after it ends (section 7). There is no separate perpetual purchase. ## 6. Designated developer seats Count one seat for each person who writes or modifies code that uses a Product's API or integrates a Product into an Application. Do not count: - end users of your Applications; - QA, product and design staff who do not write or modify that code; - CI servers, build servers and other automated systems. Employees, outsourced developers and contractors who perform that work each need a designated seat. An organization may reassign a seat when the person responsible changes; it may not share one seat among concurrent developers. Customers who modify delivered integration code need their own seats, or must be designated under an agreement covering their organization. An Application in commercial operation must remain covered after development ends, either by a paid Product subscription or by a perpetual fallback that covers the release of the Library it uses (section 7). No additional per-Application operating fee or minimum maintenance-seat rule is imposed by this License. Designate the responsible maintainer; count additional people only when they perform the development or integration work described above. The 20-developer Enterprise threshold counts these developers and is a consultation threshold, not automatic conversion or termination of Pro. ## 7. Paid period, cancellation and expiry - Pro rights for a Product last until that Product's paid-through time and end at that moment. There is no grace period. While a period is paid, every release of the Product may be used, including new releases. - **Perpetual fallback.** An annual payment permits releases of that Product made up to the end of that annual paid period may be used after it ends, without time limit, with the same rights as during the period (Pro features, logo removal or customization, and commercial use, including in Applications already delivered). Releases made after that period need a new paid period. Monthly payments earn no perpetual fallback, regardless of how many months are paid consecutively: their rights end at the paid-through time. A later monthly payment does not extend the release cutoff earned by an earlier annual payment. The license certificate records the last covered release time for each Product, and the Library compares it with its own release time. - Cancelling stops the next automatic renewal. The monthly or annual period you have already paid keeps all of its rights (Pro features, logo removal or customization, and commercial use) until its paid-through time. - If a renewal payment fails, the current paid period ends at its paid-through time. Annual release rights described above remain available. - Each Product has its own paid period. A longer subscription for one Product does not extend another Product. - Paying again after expiry restores the rights for the newly paid period, with a new license certificate. - An expired commercial Application does not become a Community use by showing the Syidax logo or by using only Community features. Commercial use needs, for each Product it uses, an active Pro subscription or a perpetual fallback that covers the release the Application uses. **Refunds.** First and renewal payments are ordinarily non-refundable. Cancelling automatic renewal alone does not produce a prorated refund; access continues for the period already paid for. Mandatory withdrawal, defect, non-delivery and continuing-transaction termination rights take priority. For a Korean consumer's eligible early termination of a continuing subscription, we refund the unused portion of the actual price from receipt of the request, without an additional cancellation penalty or clawback of a term discount. Payment or download alone does not waive statutory withdrawal. We correct duplicate, unauthorized and incorrect charges. Email parrrudev@gmail.com with the order reference; do not send card details. Lawful Korean digital-content/service withdrawal refunds are due within 3 business days from withdrawal, not approval; eligible continuing-contract termination refunds are processed within 3 business days of the request. Creem payments are refunded through Creem. The Terms of Service section 6 describes the process and statutory exceptions. Existing purchases retain more favorable agreed terms, including a previously promised first-payment 14-day full refund. Creem's applicable Buyer Terms and mandatory consumer law remain effective. **Renewal consent and cancellation.** Before purchase, the order must disclose the total charge, taxes, billing period, renewal price and cancellation route. Automatic renewal requires your express consent. You can cancel through the order's billing management link or by emailing parrrudev@gmail.com. We honor the time the cancellation request is received and do not require a retention call. A monthly subscription remains usable to the end of its paid month; an annual subscription remains usable to the end of its paid year. A refund of the remaining paid period ends the corresponding rights when withdrawal or termination takes effect, subject to applicable law. ## 8. License certificates - Pro rights are evidenced by a signed license certificate that Syidax issues for the paid period. The same certificate can be delivered as a key string or as a file. - The Library verifies the certificate locally, inside your Application, against public keys built into the Library. There is no end-user activation, no end-user account, no per-device activation and no license server for you to run. - The Library contains no telemetry / phone-home: it does not report usage and does not contact Syidax servers. The only network read of its license runtime is the optional loading of a license file from your Application's own origin, which your Application configures. - A renewed certificate is a configuration asset. It can be put in place without rebuilding the Library, for example through your server configuration, CI, a desktop update channel or an offline transfer. We make the renewed certificate available to the organization's administrator after payment confirmation. The administrator is responsible for replacing it in the Application before the previous paid-through time. First-release orders use administrator-confirmed payment and certificate delivery; no automatic delivery or renewal-reminder schedule is promised unless the order states it. Contact support if delivery is missing. A delivery problem does not authorize forging or extending the certificate locally. - A certificate is proof of a paid period, not an account credential. Keep Syidax portal logins and download tokens secret, and never ship them inside an Application. - Do not alter, forge or bypass certificates or their verification, and do not use a certificate outside the organization it was issued to. The rights in this License follow the paid period and any perpetual fallback (section 7) even where the software cannot enforce them, for example in offline copies; changing a release's recorded release time to fall under a perpetual fallback is bypassing verification. ## 9. The Syidax logo in Chart and Grid - Chart Community and Grid Community display a fixed Syidax logo on screen and on supported visual outputs, such as image exports and print. Do not remove, hide, cover or alter it. - Only a current Pro subscription for that Product (Chart Pro or Grid Pro) allows removing the logo or replacing it with your own, and only through the settings the Library provides. - Colors, fonts and themes are not restricted in any edition. - Syidax Core has no mandatory logo on its basic components in this release. ## 10. Distribution You may distribute the Library only as an integrated part of your Applications. This includes serving the Library's files for your Applications from your own servers, from a CDN that serves those Applications, or from your customers' self-hosted environments. Standalone redistribution of the Library is prohibited without a separate written contract with parrru. In particular, you may not: - publish the Library, or a modified version of it, to a package registry or a public CDN as a library; - resell, sublicense, rent or lease the Library; - ship the Library, or a fork of it, inside a component library, SDK, development platform or tool that lets third parties build their own applications with it. You may modify the Library for use in your own Applications. Distributing the modified Library on its own is standalone redistribution. An internal package mirror is allowed if it is private, restricted to people and CI systems covered by your rights, and retains the license and notices. It must not offer the Library as a public package or grant rights to another organization. SDK or development-platform re-supply requires a separate written agreement. Ordinary delivery of customer Applications does not itself require an SDK or OEM agreement or an extra delivery fee. ## 11. Third-party components The Library includes third-party software, fonts and data that are licensed under their own terms. Each package that includes such material lists it, with its copyright and license notices, in a `NOTICE.md` file shipped with that package. Other deliveries of the Library, such as bundled files built for an Application, carry the notices for the material they contain. Packages that the Library depends on and that are installed separately carry their own license files. Those terms govern those components, and this License does not restrict any right you have under them. When you distribute the Library as part of an Application, keep those notices with it as their licenses require. ## 12. First-release service policy These terms apply unless a signed Enterprise agreement or order expressly provides different terms. - **Core in Chart and Grid Pro Applications.** Basic Core commercial use is included in the same Application as described in section 4. Core Pro remains a separate grant. - **Evaluation.** Evaluation or trial terms for businesses. No evaluation terms are offered in this policy version. - **Core logo.** Basic Core components have no mandatory logo. - **Support and SLA.** Current Pro customers receive email support at parrrudev@gmail.com. No response-time, resolution-time or availability SLA is promised. Enterprise service levels require a separate written agreement. - **Seats.** Section 6 governs designation, reassignment and maintenance. - **Certificate delivery.** Section 8 governs confirmed-payment delivery and the customer's replacement responsibility. - **Re-supply.** Private internal mirrors are allowed; SDK and platform re-supply require a separate agreement under section 10. ## 13. No warranty and limitation of liability The Library is provided **"AS IS"**, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent such exclusions are permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, parrru is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and its aggregate liability under this License is limited to the fees you paid for the affected Product in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that law prohibits excluding, including fraud or willful misconduct, and do not remove mandatory consumer rights. ## 14. Breach, disputes and applicable law For a material breach, we give written notice describing the breach and 30 days to remedy it where it can be remedied. If it is not remedied, we may end the affected rights. We may suspend forged certificates or unlawful redistribution immediately to the extent necessary to stop that activity. Ordinary cancellation is governed by section 7 and does not end an already paid period early. On expiry or termination, stop Pro or commercial use that no paid period or perpetual fallback covers; existing customer data remains yours and may be exported. Contact parrrudev@gmail.com first so we can attempt to resolve a dispute. This License is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, excluding conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes may be brought in the competent courts of Seoul. This does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a court that applicable consumer law provides. No mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by this License. You must comply with export-control and sanctions laws applicable to your use and distribution. No term requires conduct prohibited by applicable law. A signed order may specify agreed commercial terms; it cannot remove rights that applicable law makes non-waivable. The order records the selected Products, seats, total price, currency, tax and paid period. Changes to this License apply to future orders or renewals after disclosure, not retroactively to a period already purchased.
